Privacy Policy
AIoT connects compatible Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices, stores readings on your phone, synchronizes supported workflows, and answers questions about device data.
Information you provide
- Account details such as your name, email address, and sign-in provider identifier.
- A phone number and SMS verification code when creating an account, including through Apple or Google sign-in. Phone verification is required for new accounts to verify access to the number and prevent automated account creation and free-credit abuse.
- Device details needed to pair with and identify compatible products.
- Questions you choose to send to the AI assistant.
- Messages you send to support.
Device readings and local storage
Device pairings, readings, and saved AI conversations are stored in the app's private storage on your phone. Removing a device deletes its local readings and associated chat history from that phone.
Authenticated synchronization may transmit supported device events to AIoT's service for synchronization, compatibility, reliability, and device-history functionality. AIoT does not sell this data or use it for advertising.
AIoT uses DeepSeek, an external AI provider, to answer your questions. When you ask, the app sends your question and a limited set of relevant device readings, computed facts, and device context through AIoT's service to DeepSeek to prepare the response. Your saved conversations remain on your phone. The sign-in and sign-up screen asks you to agree to this AI sharing before creating or using an account. You can browse supported devices without signing in.
Information stored by our service
- Account and authentication records, including your phone number and verification status.
- Device model, compatibility, installation, and synchronized event metadata.
- Purchase and transaction records used to verify purchases, credit your account, and process refunds.
- AI credit usage and operational audit records used for security and reliability.
- Push notification tokens if you enable notifications.
Permissions
AIoT requests Bluetooth access to discover and connect to nearby devices. Android may also require nearby-device or location permission for Bluetooth discovery. Local-network and Wi-Fi access are used only when a supported device communicates over your network or is being configured.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell personal information and do not use device readings for advertising. We share data only with service providers needed for authentication, hosting, notifications, synchronization, purchases, and AI responses, or when required by law.
Our SMS verification provider processes your phone number and verification code to deliver and validate verification messages. Apple App Store or Google Play processes in-app payments. RevenueCat processes your AIoT account identifier and purchase records to verify transactions and associate credits with your account. AIoT does not receive or store your payment card details. DeepSeek processes the question and limited device context described above after you give permission in the app.
Retention and deletion
You can remove a device to delete its local readings and chat history. Deleting your account disables its login immediately, removes local app data from that phone, and schedules remaining account metadata for deletion within 30 days, except records retained for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
